There are some great books and leaders out there that can help anyone who has such a downturn in one's career. Yes, with the Internet people can work from home, make more money and enjoy a more flexible schedule to do things they want to do. For many, getting fired was the best thing that ever happened to them. If you currently have a job, set some money aside to invest in a business of your own. Invest some time after your work day to watch educational and business videos and read to educate yourself in ways to become your own boss!
This week let me introduce Watkins; actually as it's been around since 1868, it may not need an introduction, but I think you'll agree that the "new" way of doing business with this great company and time tested products may need a short intro.
I was involved in this company about 15 years ago when it was mostly a "brick and mortar" business and you sold everything door to door and at fairs. I really enjoyed it. My phone rang off the wall and people loved the products so much that they would order again and again!
I now experiene this same loyalty to the products but it is so much easier now as people from all over the country order from me online. And people join my team online too and then I meet them at the yearly meetings in Minnesota (optional).
I'm involved with a support team that is "separate" (but approved by corporate) that makes everything in selling and recruiting team members a snap!
